The MS TRAM Bike Tour

Gorgeous Scenery on the MS TRAM

The Ride Across Minnesota (TRAM) is a five-day bike tour that will be held on Sunday, July 13, through Friday, July 18, 2014, and the host cities for the 300-mile (approximately) trip are listed on the Dates and Locations page. The trip uses a combination of paved bike trails and selected, scenic highways, and is host to a large number of families and bicycling teams who make this their summer vacation. For additional details, here is a direct link to the MS Society's MS TRAM Web site.

The tour will provide participants with a fully marked and supported route, with rest stops every 10-15 miles that serve water, energy drinks, fruit, and snacks. Bicycle mechanics will be available at the rest stops, and safety volunteers will keep the route as safe as possible. We'd like to have at least thirteen motorcycle escorts on this event, and it's preferable to find volunteers who can commit to serving for the entire week. We realize that's not always possible, however, and want to encourage riders who are only able to serve for a day or two to contact us. We just might be able to help each other.
